→   Circular & local panko

The majority of Panko consumed in Europe comes from Asia and the United States—an absurdity when high-quality Panko can be produced using circular ingredients sourced entirely locally.

We wanted to create a local production chain for Japanese-style Panko breadcrumbs, made from surplus bakery bread. Panko is a type of breadcrumb originating from Asia, increasingly popular and imported from the United States and Asia, as there are currently no producers in Europe.
We have built grinding, drying, and sieving machines tailored to the precise particle size and organoleptic characteristics of Japanese Panko.
Thanks to our discussions with the chefs at Makisu, we were able to develop the perfect breadcrumb size, ensuring complete coating of products and maximum preservation—both for frozen and fresh items.
Strict quality control measures are implemented in the factory to ensure that every product meets the highest standards of excellence.
Thorough testing is conducted on our products to ensure their quality and reliability.
